Most picture a winter wonderland when they think of Colorado, and while the mountains do get plenty of snow, the cities nestled in the foothills of the mountains and further out toward the plains don’t get as much. Yes, Aurora sees an average of about 60 inches of snow each year, but the sun is ample and the snow often melts by the end of the day. The average temperatures are mild all year long, making it a city where being outside is possible for much more of the year.
