Our Metro area has outpaced the nation in employment growth in healthcare and bioscience in the past several years. We’re ranked the #8 market in bioscience (JLL 2021). In 2022, 246,850 people were directly employed in the healthcare and wellness cluster plus more than 20,220 in the bioscience sector in the Metro area. Almost half of Colorado’s fastest-growing job categories are in the healthcare sector.
